1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Moku Detailing, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), including our website at mokudetail.com, booking system, customer portal, and detailing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Moku Detailing provides mobile auto detailing services across O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. Our services include but are not limited to exterior detailing, interior detailing, ceramic coatings, paint correction, and engine bay cleaning. All services are performed at the customer's location. Service availability, pricing, and scheduling are subject to change without prior notice.

3. Booking and Deposits

When you book a service through our website:

• A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your appointment
• The deposit is applied toward the total cost of your service
• The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service
• All deposits are processed securely through Stripe

By completing a booking, you confirm that the vehicle information and contact details provided are accurate and that you are authorized to schedule service for the specified vehicle.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 24 hours before appointment: Full deposit refund
• Less than 24 hours before appointment: Deposit is non-refundable
• No-shows: Deposit is forfeited

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at (808) 351-6245 or [email protected] as soon as possible. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to severe weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Membership Subscriptions

If you subscribe to a Moku Detailing membership plan:

• Membership fees are billed monthly through Stripe
• You must complete at least one full-price detail before subscribing
• Membership discounts apply to future bookings only
• You may cancel your membership at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are issued for partial billing periods

6. Loyalty Rewards Program

Our loyalty rewards program awards points and tier status based on completed service visits. Discount codes earned through the program are non-transferable, have expiration dates, and cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to modify the rewards structure, tier requirements, and benefits at any time. Loyalty status and rewards have no cash value.

7. Military and Veteran Discount

We proudly offer discounted pricing for active duty military and veterans. Proof of military service may be required at the time of service. Military discounts cannot be combined with membership discounts or loyalty reward codes. We reserve the right to verify eligibility.

8. Vehicle Condition and Liability

Please be aware of the following regarding your vehicle:

• We take great care with every vehicle, but auto detailing involves physical contact with your vehicle's surfaces
• Pre-existing damage, including but not limited to scratches, chips, dents, and paint defects, is not the responsibility of Moku Detailing
• We recommend noting any pre-existing damage before service begins
• Vehicle photos uploaded during booking help document the vehicle's condition prior to service
• We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions that become more visible after cleaning (e.g., scratches hidden under dirt)

9. Service Location Requirements

As a mobile detailing service, we require adequate space and access to perform our work. The service location must provide sufficient room around the vehicle, a relatively flat surface, and access to a water source and electrical outlet when applicable. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule service if the location does not meet these requirements.

10. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and using our services, you consent to receive transactional SMS messages including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, service updates, and follow-up communications. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Standard message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or contact us directly.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on mokudetail.com, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Moku Detailing, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moku Detailing, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawai‘i, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Honolulu County, Hawai‘i.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
